#News : SEOUL, South Korea (AP) - Prosecutors have searched three virtual exchange exchanges for seizures in the virtual currency exchanges, including illegal embezzlement.
SEOUL, Feb. 14 (Yonhap) - South Korea's Financial Supervisory Commission (FSA) said on Monday it had seized three sites, including A, a virtual money exchange in Yeouido, Seoul.
The prosecution is reportedly analyzing these data by obtaining data related to accounting at the virtual currency exchanges. According to the prosecution, company A is charged with transferring the money of the virtual money trading customer to the account of the exchange representative or officer.
An official of the prosecution said, "It is difficult to specify specific amount of grab as yet."
The prosecution is also expanding investigations on the assumption that A and other companies have illegally collected funds by tricking the public into investing money in the name of virtual currency investments.
