I am also a fan of selenite, but only if it is high quality. Lower quality selenite splinters and creates sharp shards that pierce the skin. I use selenite to magnify light. I can make a small mag light illuminate an entire room with a big enough piece of selenite.

True, the splinters are very bad, I had one natural rock formation with a mix of amazonite small piece and it had too many of them.
How would you do the Mag light, I have never tried using crystals in this manner any time, but would love to learn.
