We All Know The Old Adage

If it were easy then everyone would do it. Building and launching a site is difficult and takes a lot of planning and action-taking. Some would even say sacrifice but I am not so dramatic. It starts as a slight itch in the back of your skull. An idea that becomes a constant noise within your mind.

This in turn becomes an obsession, which causes a lot of would-be site owners to design and build their own sites, especially at the beginning of their journey when funding is at its tightest. This causes a functional but not very attractive site. An online business is a lot like an offline business, more money equals more opportunity.

As A Site Owner, I Would Never

Disparage someone else’s site, especially at launch time in a public forum. Anyone that would do this obviously has never launched a site or real online business. The problem with online marketing is it is filled with a lot of wanna-be’s, they wanna be business owners but do not have the first clue so they will go out of their way to troll someone else’s work.

I am not the most active member of the ClickTrackProfit Telegram group but I do pop in now and again to socialize a bit and am always surprised whenever a troll pops in and makes it bad for everyone else. This particular troll disrespected The New Pizza Plan Launch by @lisamgentile1961, and saying they were expecting my launch of TrafficLeads2IncomeCM, which does not track. This is because everyone knows my launch is not until June 1st.

Putting Yourself Out There

Before this incident in telegram, I had not joined the Pizza Plan myself. I have now rectified this and am a proud member. I remember it from the back in the days with @jongolson; and Lisa now has breathed new life into a classic which is great to see. I've known Lisa for a few years now. Her growth as a marketer has been great. And now as fellow owner her impact online will continue to grow as well.

Even though I have all of my basic evergreen stuff already set up, I can see the value of this program for anyone that is just beginning or maybe they have been at it for a while but neglected this basic setup.

Hosting Can Come Later

I have always been a big believer that everyone should have their own domain, but it is not something that is needed in the beginning but will definitely need to be added later. So a beginning internet marketer can get started for even less, but never free, unless they give LeadsLeap a try, but that is a post for a later date.

The autoresponder, tracking, and training are the most important tools needed to get started. CTP membership will also help the new person to build their first LCP even at the free level.

If You Ever Feel The Urge to Troll

Please just don’t, trolling is the equivalent of bullying, and the world hates a bully. Rather than tear down someone else’s work, build it yourself. That would actually take work and investment. I think that is why people troll, they receive some weird satisfaction saving them from the need to actually build something.

I Need To Stop Here

I find trolling anonymously truly insidious. And for goodness sake, use your real name. That's part of Branding 101. I and many other people online use our own names, because we want to get to know people and we want people to know us.

Not wanting this to turn into a rant here is a great place to stop.
