Heat Wave - Torn Between Hell And The Deep Blue Sea

One of the best weather conditions hubby enjoys so much is cold weather. Funnily, I learnt some kind of grammar about the body system from him. Apart from the general adaptive nature of humans, he always talk about his body experiencing 'Osmoregulation'.

Unfortunately, lately his osmoregulation seems to have failed not just him but my Sonshine also. They both have got some heat rashes to battle with. Hubby seems to be managing his as an adult but my Sonshine has got more rashes and less sleep at night most times.

How time flies, who would have thought that after some weeks of enjoying the cold weather during the end of last year that we would be so deep into this hell of a weather. Anyway, the whole situation has made us undecided about how best to tackle it.

Should we leave our rooms airy enough by introducing fans constantly? What effect will it have on my Sonshine? Hubby has been very skeptical about leaving the fans on in the room because of the effects it may have on our Sonshine and due to what the mom always says about people getting pneumonia more during hot weather than during cold weather conditions.

Her believe was that people will go to extreme lengths to have the heat disappear and by doing that, will usually catch some flu due to excessive exposure of the body to cold. Although the mom is late 😭, those explanations still resonates in hubby's mind. To tackle the heat a bit, the Windows are always open, but it seems the mosquito nets are not allowing much air to our body.
