RE: Dapplr Team Introductions and Dapplr Alpha Launch (Android)

in #dapplr4 years ago (edited)

Congrats! Sad that I was never once even replied to with anything more than a 1-word response, even though I advocated on Twitter (and Hive) over and over that I would've been a DIE-HARD user/fan + also dying to help be an Alpha +/or Beta tester, and never once received a single response from you guys through twitter on your posts - but I'm glad that others still at least followed you.

Hopefully, this app turns out as amazing as it looks. I've continually stated here on Hive + Twitter that Dapplr would have, in my opinion, the most massive impact on Hiveonboarding, helping us work towards mainstream adoption of the masses.

1 suggestion - you guys should really bring someone on to handle your social media marketing that actually understands and values marketing - people really reach out on social and the responses seem very bare minimum/1-worded. This was even discussed in a conversation on one of the marketing discords at some point. You also probably would've gotten a LOT more funding which would've accelerated your dev process.

A proper social media response/marketing team also makes a MASSIVE difference when it comes to onboarding and adoption by the masses - if you can't properly respond to other human beings, you won't onboard them.

I understand you guys are working your ass off on the app dev itself, but there have been TONS of us on Twitter that have been pushing and dying for this, and offering multiple times to help you guys grow / test / improve your outreach. Hell, I would've even done the marketing for you for FREE.

Otherwise, wishing you guys the very best.

Hi @nulledghost

Each and every member of the community is important. Thank you for your feedback and continuous support.

Yes, Our first priority is to build a robust and reliable product. It should be easy enough for a new user to join HIVE community and with that in mind, we believe there is quite a lot of stuff that we can do to achieve that.

We will work on our marketing strategy as it will play a huge role in the future and acquiring masses.

thanks for the response - currently replying using dApplr 😁.

I sent you guys 100 $HUSTLERM miner tokens (@HiveHustlers community mining tokens worth 1 Hive/ea). stake them and earn some free tokens daily.

truly in love with the app right now and I think this might be my new favorite app. I knew this was going to change the game when it came to mobile.

keep it up guys, awesome work.

Up voted this for visibility. Social media interaction is the key to on boarding. This is something Appics have done well (as that is their background) and I recommend looking at how they achieved that and I have a lot of respect for their on boarding approach. I would also study how they lost a lot of the community with their private token economics and restricted platform posts (you only see Appics posts on Appics but everyone on Steem sees them so it was not asymmetrical and people often opted had to create second account specifically for appics). Keeping Dapplr open to all content regardless of if it is posted on Dapplr (or another fronted) is imperative for rapid uptake. If you get the right mix here of freedom and usability this will explode in popularity. I would be keen to be an iphone tester.

Hi @intrepidphotos

Thank you for your feedback. We have plans in place but first we need to build and build until we have a product that we can market it to the masses.

iOS version will soon be coming. Stay tuned.
