I think you are making a storm inside a glass of water... plus not sure why you are complaining... the garbage dump increased in price... so, just by selling it you will get more than enough SIM to overcome your previous population.
Yesterday evening i complained a lot about this modification on discord channel and i was treated like a shit from the users there except @nathen007 which was on my same opinion.

Reagrding my complaint, i was yesterday evening on general server just after the update was done, so around 9 pm CET.

I know you did it. What I was trying to say was you could have waited furthermore and/or keep asking around if it was still not making sense for you. Making the post is good for awareness, but sometimes I fell everyone is too rushy... but in my view, you could have avoided the "cost" or even make a profit with the situation.
My general recommendation is for people to take time and question themselves more often before going ahead. Crypto is public, so if something does not make sense and no one is making a "Party" about it... something is up, and generally is good to investigate.
