RE: The #Decentralized-Internet Contest

Hey Dan,

Thanks for the heads up on this competition, it looks right up my alley.

For me, the important one is actually getting content that talks about Hive's place within the decentralized internet, on Hackernoon.

We all get so caught up in our own little Hive bubble, talking about Hive to the already converted.

The key however, is to post branded Hive posts elsewhere and actually post unbranded, outward facing content on Hive which brings new traffic in.

For example, check out my Quora answer to the question what is a decentralized social network?.

Just like I spoke about above, I've posted about Hive on an external platform, trying to bring outside traffic in (any Quora upvotes will help the answer's visibility, so if you've got an account obviously give it a vote).

I'll be taking the opportunity to talk Hive on Hackernoon as a part of this contest and definitely encourage others here to do the same.

Hive has a huge role to play within the decentralized internet and it's up to us to get the word out... Not just milk our own rewards pool in an echo chamber.
