CO2 bzw. Kohlenstoffdioxid ist eine chemische Verbindung aus Kohlenstoff und Sauerstoff (C + O2). Es ist ein unauffälliges Gas, welches man weder riechen noch sehen kann. Es brennt nicht und ist bis zu -78 Grad Celsius gasförmig. CO2 ist in unserer heutigen Gesellschaft ein Synonym für den Treibhauseffekt und den daraus resultierenden Klimawandel geworden.
