Game mechanics
The field is separated into several areas. There is four horizontal line (Defense /Midfield Defensive / Midfield Offensive / Attack) and three vertical lines ( left / mid /right). Additionally there is the two goal positions, so there is in total 14 regular positions.
At each of the divisions there is presumed scenarios, which can be happen. So there might be a 30 pct likelihood from DM right that the player will try to pass to DO center
Also, there is a predefined probability, that this pass will be successful.
This probability is adjusted in the following way:
The probability is multiplied with a team factor. This includes a home game advantage but also the team player factor. The team player factor is defined by the average team player statistic of all players on the field of your team.
