As we have submitted our funding proposal for this year, we are committed to bringing various projects to the HIVE community.

In this series of posts, we will be discussing each point of the proposal, including an overview of the projects, open source code, goals, current state, and future plans. While some of our projects will have private branding to make them economically sustainable and not a burden on the HIVE community,

we will of course still make the software open source for other developers to use and build upon. In this way, we hope to contribute to the growth and success of the HIVE ecosystem.

Overview

We believe that NFTs have the potential to transform the gaming and creative industries, and we're thrilled to announce that we're taking a step towards making that happen. With the launch of HK MARKET, we're creating a platform that will allow NFT traders to thrive in a positive environment.

We've noticed an absence of a dedicated NFT market on HIVE that is specifically designed to meet the needs of NFT traders. That's why we've been working hard on creating HK MARKET - a marketplace that is open to all games and projects on HIVE.

At HK MARKET, we're dedicated to providing a user-friendly experience that will make it easy for traders to navigate the market. We're developing specialized filters for each project, visual presentation, and access to information such as volume, trends, and price charts. Our goal is to make it easy for traders to find the NFTs they're looking for and to make informed decisions about buying and selling.

But we're not stopping there. We're also working on developing tools that will allow for the ease of trading NFTs as bundles and the possibility of bartering NFTs. We want to create a marketplace that is flexible, accommodating, and tailored to the needs of the HIVE community.

Most importantly, we aim to be the go-to marketplace for NFT trading on HIVE. Our platform is designed to be user-friendly, accessible, and transparent. We believe that HK MARKET will be the face of HIVE regarding the trading of NFTs and we're excited to bring this project to life

Actual State Of The Project

Great, let's get into the actual state of the project. We've been working hard on the HKmarket for months, making sure to take the time to design the layout and create a user experience that is top-notch before starting any coding.

Now, we're excited to announce that we've launched the BETA version of the market, starting with Hashkings. We chose to start with our own project to have more freedom to test and try new features.

When you visit the market homepage, you'll notice that it now features all the NFTs for sale that are related to Hashkings.

Soon, we'll also add trending collections, volume and more visual data to help NFT traders navigate the entire HIVE NFT market with ease.

One crucial feature that we've been working on and that is present in this beta version is the super specialised filters. We understand that every project or game has different characteristics and ways to present and divide their NFTs.

Therefore, the filters required for players to access them in the easiest way possible also have to be super specific for each project.

With HK, you can now see the specific type of NFTs.
For example, in Hashkings, we have Seeds, Water Towers, Landplots and Avatars. Also, you can see the tokens that are being used for the sale, and within each NFT, you can see a specific filter.

For example, for Water Towers, it's the level, for Seeds, it's the region, for Landplots, it's also the region, and for Avatars, it's specifically the type of avatar. We will continue adding more filters, such as rarity filters for avatars.

Our team has built this system with fast loading screen times and made it easy to apply to other projects. You can go to your inventory and directly sell or transfer your NFT. We're excited to say that all the basic strong functions of the market are live.

The Mid Term Future Of The Project

Looking towards the mid-term future of the project, our focus will be on building out the backend of the market to provide even more valuable information to NFT traders. This includes features such as trending collections, volume in different time frames, notifications

As well as upgrading the visual style of the market, many of the modals that are live right now will be replaced.

for buy/sell orders, and a complete history of your purchases. We also plan to implement personal milestones to track your progress within the market, such as the number of NFTs sold and volume bought/sold.

In addition to these backend improvements, we are also excited to collaborate with other trusted game developers within the HIVE blockchain. We have already reached out to several teams, including WOO, DCROPS, PSYBERX, CRYPTOSHOTS, BIGDOGBONE, BHR INFERNAL COLISEUM, and TERRACORE, to bring the HK market experience to their players.

We believe that by working together, we can create a more robust and diverse ecosystem for NFT trading within the HIVE blockchain and offering tons of solutions for NFT traders within HIVE.

Finally, we are exploring the possibility of adding a presale feature to the market, allowing developers and players to safely host and run presales of their NFTs. We are also working on an advertising program to help promote these presales and drive more traffic to the market.
