I'm not sure what is up with the Meshnet link. I had that problem and then it went away when I checked again - and now its doing it again. I will investigate the problem more.

Is it also a platform like Hive or how does it work?
Monero is a privacy based crypto (the opposite of Hive). I think it is important to have privacy functions alongside Hive, and Monero can provide that.

I don't know that open and decentralized means free and subsidized. My view would be that it is openly available and not controlled by patents and large corporations, thus allowing people the freedom to create and expand our access and knowledge.
