Education in rural USA and evil politicians

This is a good story about a young teacher from Philippines who got a 2 year visa to teach Maths in a rural town of Colorado.

In the small town of Julesburg the principal of the High School was in a bad situation after the Math teacher retired and after 4 months of trying to hire an American teacher there wasn't a single one willing to take the job.

He found a solution by interviewing teachers from Philippines and convinced Charmaine Theodore to move from the Philippines to the USA and be the teacher in a very small community.

This is real life in America, very different from what the Mainstream Media sells the world. Because of bad politics, the US has the same problems of most developed countries. Everyone wants to move to the big cities and the population in small town keeps shrinking so much that it's hard for these communities to find the people they need in sectors like education and medicine.

It's a vicious circle that the two main parties in each country ignore while they fight about stupid things like gay marriage, abortion and other topics that are less important than giving the people good living conditions.

It's interesting to see that while the Mainstream Media and the Politicians from both parties pursue an agenda to make the public hate immigrants, there are immigrants like Charmaine Theodore who are more willing to help a small community in America than any American Teacher.

The public needs to wake up and understand that most topics that separate Left and Right are no real topics but only small issues to keep the people divided and distracted, while both parties are together in the big scheme of things.

When it comes to invading other countries and killing civilians for oil, the Democrats and Republicans are always together.

When it comes to restricting people's liberties by approving the Patriot Act, not a single Democrat or Republican voted against it.

When it comes to finding solutions to help communities like Julesburg, the Democrats and Republicans keep their eyes closed and do nothing.

When will the people kick off these evil politicians and crush down this fake democracy to replace them with leaders who put the population first?

I can only confirm that this is a problem in almost all developed countries. I write from the Czech Republic in Central Europe. We have the same problem here not only with teachers, but also with doctors, for example ... And we also have politicians who take care of themselves.

So it's the same thing everywhere. What lousy politicians we elect.

There are no other politicians to choose ... Perhaps direct democracy ...

Maybe that's the only way.

Hi Mitty, Thanks for posting on Talkingpoint.co.

I love that you acknowledge that much of what we spend our time arguing about is petty and not really impactful to most of us.

Thank you for the support. Also for the tribe. I needed this tribe to get more active in steem. Now I have more reasons to keep posting.
