Hester Peirce to SEC: Wake Up to the Future
Besides, Peirce is worried that the dim administrative system in the United States will pursue crypto organizations seaward.
"[The SEC has the disposition of] 'I don't care for that commercial center. Bitcoin markets are chaotic, so we don't care for them. So we're not going to permit that item that depends on bitcoin to exchange our business sectors.'"
Peirce says that is the arcane demeanor the SEC has received toward bitcoin, and it's counterproductive. The Crypto Mom made the comments at a June 25 discussion facilitated by the Heritage Foundation (video underneath).
Peirce says other money related items are likewise "muddled" however the SEC doesn't pull the attachment on them, so for what reason wouldn't it be able to embrace a similar liberality toward crypto?
