RE: Travel with me #108 : Museum Hotel in Uçhisar, Cappadocia!

in #dlive7 years ago

Hey @sweetssssj,

First time visiting your blog courtesy of @arunava who says yours is the only travel blog he follows. Now that I am here myself, I can see why.

This piece on the beautiful Museum Hotel in Cappadocia, Turkey is both amazing and inspiring. It does make me feel like I was right there with you experiencing the nooks and crannies, that pool with surrounding mountains stretching in to the sky.

When you shared it included caves, it felt a bit creepy but the high ceilings, excellent lighting to show off the art work helped dispel a bit of that. By the time I got to the bathroom with you, it was gone completely. So tastefully done to fit the vibe, culture and history of the community and area.

And the secluded spots with other perfect views made me wish I was there to meditate. I'll have to settle to glancing at the pictures and visiting energetically for now. ;)

Thank you for such a detailed walk through and fresh, 'I'm there' experience that you have created here. You have a new fan. ;)

Thank you so much, @sweetsssj. I will pass that on and I've just added you to my autoupvote list over at steemdunk.xyz to ensure I never miss your posts.

This was a delightful experience and even when I do begin to travel to each spot you recommend, I'll still be following your next posts to find out about the other travel gems you found and recommend. ;)

You are a Godsend. Just last week I prayed to become excited again about travelling which I've always loved, and in walks you and your wonderful, inspiring blog. This means a lot to me, to once again begin to look forward to getting back to my decades-long lost love of travelling to interesting places around the world. Bless you, @sweetsssj!
