Thought I'd make this video just for fun. I share my prediction of what I expect to happen in the cryptocurrency market over the next 10 years or so.

I think the "milestones" I see are
1/ Extension of the current bear market with even greater falls.
2/ Shakeout in the altcoin market as current projects fail to deliver.
4/ Huge technological advances in with respect to scaling, layer 2 and use of AI
5/ Institutions start investing in BTC and ETH
6/ 2nd wave of interest in BTC probably fuelled by FIAT crisis propels it to all time highs.
yes you are right and I think it is necessary to shake a market so that those projects will be out of the market which are just focusing on exchanges and making money rather than focusing and achieving the roadmap.
For bull market to come back in crypto we definitely need this upward sentiment. Right now it doesn’t feel that way at all. Still, isn’t it a perfect time to be adding to our portfolios? We all know it will eventually change. Many people get this kind of blockage and don’t buy at these levels. I try to do the opposite, I was adding to my position in the last three weeks. I will add even more if we go lower. Bitcoin ETF’s are coming, just like bitcoin futures are already here. You mentioned dot com bubble which I have been comparing to crypto as well. Strong will survive and weak and nonproductive will eventually fail. This needs to happen for crypto to reach trillions and trillions dollars in market cap. People and mostly institutions need confidence to invest in crypto, which they don’t have much at this time. I see it easy happen in the next 10 years just like you do. I would hate myself sooo much if I missed today’s opportunities. I’d rather loose everything than missing it completely.

Yes you are right and the best example of Amazon as a company who survive after a Dot com bubble burst.
Bitcoin as a leader in both direction is pulling everything else down at this moment. Whatever direction Bitcoin moves, alt coins tend to follow. Obviously we can officially call this market as a bear market. This is not just a regular correction. Whether there is good news or bad news these little bumps are just a noise. The sentiment is simply too negative, and no new money is flowing into crypto right now. We may go even lower from now on, but that won’t change a thing about crypto and blockchain technology being as a future of not only payments, but everything else. Once bitcoin and strong cryptos adapt, people get confidence and than sentiment changes. It may take even ten years, but I hope I get to witness it. Sooner or later we get this long awaited bull market and then we get another bear market and so on. That’s how it works. Things are already happening. Bitcoin already has status of legal currency from many countries like Russia, Ukraine and other. Countries like US, Canada, Japan and European countries are currently working in the direction of regulating it, which clearly shows that bitcoin will be there but in regulated way. At some point we need some kind of regulations. It’s all about people’s confidence.
I am all in now and I promise you this much if we go lower from here- I am selling my second phone and laptop, my coin collection, my rare bank notes collections and other valuables to buy more crypto.
Sure we need the market to rise and rise we will but frankly I am numb by now, I need it to fall a little further so I get what I need from this. I am not being greedy here ........... its just that the logic of buying crypt now and below this point is becoming more and more a strong.
I am pretty sure that there are thousands of people just sitting there in wait of price falling even further. If it happens I will pounce on ETC, STEEM, EOS, Byteball and Ethereum with everything I have
It will be interesting to see how they get involved directly into the Crypto assets as they will probably opt to use OTC exchanges so may not be clearly visible where we typically see volumes and prices like coinmarketcap. Also, the big hurdle will be regulation in the short term. So far, they have opted to invest in the infrastructure to avoid the regulatory environment today for ICOs and the sorts.
Nice spot. What we also have to consider is, if the €uro and USD is still there in 10 years from now and how the international situation is. Hopefully peaceful.
In ten year time i believe fiat currencies will be completely replace with digital currencies. and i see Bitcoin becoming the official currency of the world. Whereby world trade and business transactions will be peg with bitcoin. The revolution of crypto currencies will take over global financial sector and the world will become completely cashless @louisthomas
I think crypto adoption will happened faster than we think because many countries, especially european countries has started the process for cashless society. cash will be history sooner than we think.
In 10 years we no longer use paper money, everything is paid through a scanner with your phone and we only use cryptocurrencies governments accepted and support their use....

Bitcoin price predictions were very positive at the beginning of the year, buoyed by the price explosion at the end of 2017. Celebrated investor Tim Draper said bitcoin could hit $250,000 by 2022, while self-described "bitcoin evangelist" Alistair Milne said he believed bitcoin would reach between $35,000 and $60,000 by the end of next year.
@louisthomas Have a look to 2014 bitcoin trend line. Recently 3 bumps noticed and at 2014 same 3 bumps noticed but support levels were different. Happy trading

I think that bitcoin will reach million during 10 years
What i think is that it would be good that if we focus on explaining the real use cases of crypto projects rather than just focusing on the price growth. Remember that If there is no use in real world then there is no value of such product in long run. We need to prepare videos which shows the case study of how crypto can solve the problem which is facing by a Company. This is my thoughts and a way to help the community.

Beautiful area you are in man! I 100% agree, when the financial institutions jump on the blockchain tech, we will see HUGE numbers. I see them jumping onto the STEEMblock because of the quick transactions and no fees. STEEM is the future world bank, in my opinion.
