I actually started doing exactly the same thing about a week ago. Rather than doing only videos or only text posts I started combining the two.

It takes a little longer to put together but it gives the best of both worlds and has forced me to learn new skills.

I haven’t tried DLive yet but will definitely give it a shot in addition to DTube. :)
