I spent 8 months writing hundreds of articles on a website. I barely made $100. I don't go around complain though since I wasn't entitled. I wasn't giving what the market wanted. You have to adjust to the current market place.

First of all it takes around 1-2 years of smart and hard work daily before you even get on the map. Steemit has barely existed for 2 years. So there is a lack of perspective here. You need a solid content strategy to succeed and you also need to leverage work + connections + capital. You need to be able to build trust and relationships with people. You need to be both Street Smart + Book Smart.

That won't be sustainable for long. Majority of stake holders are not doing that either. It's a waste of time trying to look at the minority. And people can do what they want with their stake. That is the cool thing about this place. You don't earn insane amounts of rewards by self upvote. With a few thousand Steem you can get maybe 1-2 Steem by self upvote a day. That is not so much. So it's not unfair for anyone.

If someone invested early then clearly they will have more Stake. They took a risk. If they made a profit they can do what they desire with it. You are in competition with the whole world also. Since we now have globalism. This means you always need to improve your game.
Then I suppose you wouldn't mind a simple change to make the stakes more fair. Instead of the current system that puts things on the front page, how about things instead be chronologically ordered as they're posted without things sticking up at the top for very long at all? Would you be in favor of something like this?

Because I can merely look at your voting power and easily determine you literally like the system just the way it is, because you already heavily benefit from the lack of fairness with the algorithms that push your content for me to see when I don't even follow you.
You don't want a freshly cycled front page with the newest content regardless of account age or SP because you're quite cushy there at the top. Making it more fair means you actually have to work harder like the rest of us to get your content seen and you don't like that do you?
How dare a small fry like myself suggest a better and more equitable system that provides a better potential for spreading new content from numerous creators to have a better shake. How dare I, someone who already networks with commenting and the like, suggest a system that would vastly improve the system that would rock that foundation so more fresh content is easier to find?

Disagree with someone is not abuse lol. It's built into the Steem Blockchain. If you can't handle a Stake based system with downvotes and upvotes then this place is not for you. Play a victim is something people do on Twitter. Doesn't work on Steemit. Attacking stake holders will not make them agree with you. A smarter idea is to try to understand people. I don't expect a reward; I expect my work to be seen and rise or fall by it's own merit because if it doesn't, I haven't really succeeded, ..nor have I failed.
I am not some freeloader, I paid for at least half of my Steem, and the next time I buy Crypto I may just save myself the additional overhead of converting it to Steem.

Yes you are confused and missed the point entirely. My initial point was not about the potential future worth of Steem, it was about the social media aspect of Steem being easily dominated by SP. When @outtheshellvlog pointed this out you changed the subject.

Large relative to what? I don't play the comparison game. Yes I think lower SP account should show some respect to bigger sp accounts. Poor people should buy rich people dinner. That would make the poor learn all the secrets about the rich. Also known as humility. All SP account except maybe 10 100K ones are small ones. So say you have large investors here doesnt apply lol. Unless you consider the 10 big accounts.
