Do dreams go to dogs?

in #dog7 years ago

Until now, scientists can not answer with certainty whether dreams are dreamed of dogs. It is hard to imagine that this is not so. All of us, I think, noticed that the dog in a dream whimpers and pulls the paws.

A study was conducted that examined the relationship between memory and sleep. Scientists  have noticed that when a rat runs on the wheel in order to get food,  its brain creates a special structure of neurons (brain cells). Scientists repeated the same experiment during the sleep of the rat. They found that the brain produces the same activity as when the rat ran around the wheel. Memories functioned equally on the cerebral cortex both during sleep and during wakefulness.

Can we refer the results of this study to dogs?

Many scientists believe that yes. If  the human brain is different from a mammal, then comparing a rat, a dog  and a cat, we can assume that they experience the same emotions,  because they are all from the class of vertebrates. In a dream, the dog sees images of past events, experiences the same emotions that were received in life.

The human dream has several phases. So a person has a phase of fast sleep, which is characterized by increased activity of the brain. One of the signs of this phase is the rapid movement of eyeballs. Dogs also have a phase of fast sleep. If you take a closer look at the dog during sleep, you can see how the eyeballs move. This can include intermittent breathing, whining and trembling of the paws.

Perhaps the dog represents how he runs around the park, catches the ball, bites off a scrawny bone and scares the birds away.

Also, scientists have suggested that dreams are some kind of mechanism responsible for subconscious desires. In a sense, you can agree. Theoretically, a dog can dream as she runs after a neighbor's cat, trying to grab her by the tail :-)

In any case, a dog is a living being with emotions and feelings. Take care of our younger brothers and they will give us in return tenfold love and devotion!

Thank you for this expository article !.
It has really enlightened me.

Since dogs are also mammal, they have the tendencies of experiencing such.

Keep it up.
