What is your opinion on self voting issue?

Self voting has been a big issue on Steemit. Those who are large SP holders don't like to share the profit with others. Hence, they like self voting. But, small SP holders want whales to share their voting value to the minnows and plankton.
What is your opinion on self voting issue?
- Those who have invested on Steem, has a right to do whatever they like with their SP.
- Self voting must be stopped.
- Self voting should be allowed but there should be some method to discourage people to self vote.

I'm fine with self-voting [ to be clear & fair: I do it myself ].
However, if there were some sort of system to discourage it, as long as it's not horrible / destructive, I wouldn't be opposed to at least test-running it.
I think the more important thing is to share your vote. You can self-vote as much as you'd like, but I would hope people aim to give back to others an equal, if not greater, amount.
Accumulating STEEM helps me create more projects for the Steem community. If I earn this STEEM through self-voting, then I consider that to be a positive development for the platform. I also regularly vote up tons of other content.
Using a service like Steemworld, you can see your Voting CSI. Keeping this rate in mind can help steer you into being less greedy & more helpful :^)
