RE: DSound: Delegations, curation and new community building strategy. This one is Big News!

in #dsound7 years ago

Hi Steevc, I've just made my first visit to DSound. Have you got any of your music on here yet?

I came here as a young local band I know are interested. I'm looking for two or three bands to show them the potential here.

They were from west Wales but are now in Bristol trying to make a full time profession out of their music, gigging and doing part-time jobs to pay the bills. So I am hoping DSound might be a perfect fit for them.

I've found @danieldyemusic and @edprivat to show them. Have you come across any UK bands that are doing well on here?

I've not got anything there yet. When I do some proper recordings I'll try it. I'm not aware of many bands on here yet, but I'll encourage them to sign up

Hey Steve, I did sign up and on Musicoin as well. On dsound I am seeing a lot of copyright infringements. I was wondering how you think we should handle this as artists. A lot of samples are not cleared I am guessing.

I haven't got into that yet. Copyright infringements are inevitable. Youtube is full of them, but now we have platforms where they are almost impossible to remove. If I develop my own music more I need to look into this more.

would be interested in what you think of what i posted yesterday.....thanks bud . Please dont upvote me...since i am asking you to check it out....
