hahahaha!!! Let him!
This is good sound. I love the whole groove. Sounds great. And your picture illustration is dope.
Your music is a good conditioner for the mind.
Great work @rusty-jernigan
Haha!! I'm going to use that "your music is a good conditioner for the mind" quote if you don't mind! It's great!
Thanks so much for your lovely words!
Intriguing. I think I need to clear my mind and come back to see if it changes my impression.
...andd
Did you for real make this yourself?! I actually was digging the vibe of it this time around. I think there were a few sounds effects I would drop out to smoothen it up a bit (like around 1:08-1:10). But it has a groovy/trancy appeal to it.
That's a promising first question! haha
Answer: Yes! I created this myself for better or worse.
Definitely noted the criticism! Will make these changes for the final version as you wish!
Wonderful feedback and lovely candid reporting.
Hope to hear from you again!
I mean it's your piece of art so you know what you want it to sound like better than me. But great job. Keep it up!
You mean rap beat :D ? Yea would sound nice if somebody rap to it fast. Kinda out of box, followed
There are plenty of hip hop artist out there that make beats with no rapping on top. Check out flying lotus, one of the better known beat makers.
Oh yeah, @illuminationst8! Can't wait for the new Flying Lotus this year! Brainfeeder is a dream label for sure imo. Also definitely into some Hessle Audio, Warp and Triangle.
@grant-vegra If you're saying you would like to drop some flow on the beat, I'd mix a verse of super hot fire, 150 degrees ASAP.
Very tight, what are you using to make this sort of stuff?
Hey @illuminationst8! I used Ableton's Analog instrument with a bit of help from my po-32. I created a ton of variations using a process with the buffer shuffler max object, and then I used a few interesting devices during mixing and mastering to add a bit of irregular space.
Interesting beat, like the various pings and bleeps in there)
Cheers @stevee! I rather took a liking to the various pings and bleeps in there myself!
It's cool to have you say it as well!
Hope you have a wonderful day/night!
Yep .. this is a good one. I can feel the groove in this beat after that Shapeshifter that I listened to the last time :). I love the rhythm. Thanks for sharing @rusty-jernigan ...
Thanks @garokee! I felt that we must rebound from the oddity of Shapeshifter! This felt like a good direction!
Much respect to you!
Yes .. but you can still make that kind of beat again .. When it is near Holloween :) .. cheers!
really very nice music & sound..... thanks @rusty-jernigan for share...
Absolutely @zahidul0! Thanks for the listen! :)
