Nocturne

Track 9 from my 2019 album ARIA. "Nocturne" is a dark, melancholic piano+vocals piece which moves into a more orchestral section in the end. It is about accepting the reality of the situation and whatever sacrifice may be necessary in the end.

DESCRIPTION OF THE ALBUM "ARIA":
I wrote this album with the idea of a rock/metal album feeling like the experience felt when playing through an epic Japanese-style RPG like Final Fantasy or Chrono Trigger. Each song can stand alone, but as a whole they represent the progression from beginning to end. As a concept album, there is a story, but I've made it intentionally a little vague so that the listener can also apply each song in his or her own way.
