Let's Make Turmeric Paste~Natural Medicine

in #dtube5 years ago

Turmeric is a very popular spice with many health benefits. Please research this incredible gift of nature for yourself to find many amazing uses it has to offer.

It is a wonderful Natural Medicine/Remedy and a delicious spice to cook with.

My family has been using this method for over 3 years now and are very pleased with the results.

We use the Turmeric Paste for stomach ailments, arthritis pain and inflammation, endometriosis, and as a supplement to help us stay healthy. We also give it to our elderly dogs as a supplement; by mixing it with water and pouring it over their dry dog food.

Always check with your physician and/or do research before taking anything in conjunction with other remedies or prescribed drugs.

Turmeric Paste or Golden Paste

There are many recipes online to be found for this paste. These are the measurements I have had the most success with for taste and texture.

Ingredients:

1 ½ cups water

½ cup turmeric powder

1/4 teaspoon of Ginger

1 tablespoon cinnamon

2 teaspoons ground black pepper

3 teaspoons coconut oil

Complete directions on how to prepare the paste is provided in the video.

You can also use this paste for:

Golden Milk: by warming a cup of milk (coconut, soya, almond or cow) and adding 1 teaspoon of Turmeric Paste. To sweeten add 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of honey.

Golden Tea:

Heat 1 3/4 cups of water and add 2 teaspoons of Turmeric Paste. Stir well. Additionally add lemon juice to taste and sweeten with 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of honey.

I use turmeric for joint pain but found that a delightful side affect was that my eyesight started regenerating from all that good beta carotene.

That's excellent! I didn't think about the benefit of eyesight. Thank-you for pointing that out ❤

Oh! Only this afternoon I told to another fellow Steemian that turmeric is currently my favourite spice 😃 Thank you for sharing this recipe here with us on the platform @deepsouthpiddlin :)

You are very welcome! So glad to hear we have this in common. I find myself chatting about turmeric to others quite often lol I've found it to be a great natural alternative. Thanks so much for the response ❤😊

I love tumeric. I drink a tumeric and ginger tea once a day (most of the time) and it really helps with my inflammation as well as allows me to sleep a little better since I don't have as much discomfort. And pour in that cinnamon, girl. I swear, I put cinnamon on everything 😂. This is a great video. I may try to make this! :) Love you & miss your smiling face! :)

:) So there's a running joke in my family, pertaining to a remedy that I refer to quite often. Figured I would share it with you. If someone has an ailment 9 times out of 10 it seems like I would say "Oh, I bet I know what would help that" then my husband would say- "Ahhh Put a little Apple Cider Vinegar On it" haha... May not sound funny, but you'd have to be here! Apple Cider Vinegar is another home remedy I use often and the kids love when my husband changes his voice to mimic me and say that catch phrase :) Anyway, thanks Jenn ♥ As always, You make my day ♥ Love you and miss you too! (P.S. ACV isn't very tasty nor does it smell very good lol... But it does have a lot of great benefits too. If you haven't checked it out, do so and see if it could help any of your discomforts) ;)

Love it! Hehe. Your husband knows that's your catch phrase hehe. 😂 I have heard the many benefits of ACV. I think I even have some in the pantry. 🤔 There's that lemon and ACV thing people do every day, I think, that alkalines the body. (I may not be 100% right on that. Lol) You're right. It doesn't taste good at all but it is supposed to work wonders. I may look into that again. My one friend couldn't stand it but found ACV capsules at Wal-Mart so now he takes those. 😂😂🤣 I tease him & tell him that's cheating! Aww you make my day too, sweetie. Glad to see you & your video content. Keep them coming. 🥰🥰
