[DTube] Geometric Series: Deriving the Summation Formulas

I'm in the process of uploading all of my Youtube videos to DTube, where they can be recorded on the Steem blockchain

In this video, we derive the formulas for summing a geometric series, firstly to the nth term and then to infinity.

The formulas are:

  1. Sn = a(rn - 1) / r - 1

  2. S = a / r - 1

We also discuss the concept of convergence and divergence for the geometric series.
