Zuckerberg into cryptos...Interesting
Mark Zuckerburg, "the philanthropist" will create a private blockchain and all the FB users gonna jump into it, they won't understand the main difference between "centralized" and "decentralized". FB users relay, eye closed and for years stupid rumors like "FB will be no longer free, if you have at least 15 friends send them a message... and FB will remain free", I don't think the 80% of FB users are gonna notice the trickery of M Zuckerburg.
and MZ will be richer than rich of all rich because of non rich :))))
FB is now a huge garbage, we no longer have the same kind of people as its very beginning (IT enthusiasts, good bloggers...)
Superior product will emerge victorious in the long run, just that FB has a huge headstart in userbase

Mark Fuckerberg is totally misconstruing what decentralization is in an attempt to co-opt the trend hoping that most people haven't done their homework well enough to understand the difference. He's a politician now used to using buzzwords inappropriately hoping that some of that power will rub off on a dying technical paradigm (Facebook Centralization).
Of course Suckerberg want to crytonise facebook. He will get all the media attention as though he is a revolutionary cryto genious and Steemit will still get no mainstream media.
Interessting thesis. I hope he misses the opportunity and goes down like all the other central applications of corruption :)
I suspect this will be the reaction from the vast majority of FB users upon hearing the term ‘blockchain’.
Suckerberg is just trying to make headlines to keep the sheeple interested in fakebook. Being a centrally governed entity is all it will ever be, and there is no way he would EVER give up even .001% of that power to the decentralized blockchain technology.
He is a tool of the state.
While I would agree that the site has been, and probably will continue to be, a tool of branches of the state, saying Zuckerburg is a "tool" of the state, I feel, gives the man more power than he actually could have.
In the end, if Facebook collapses like Myspace, what did you all lose that I didn't already lose when Myspace collapsed (I lost nothing)?
OK. To me a tool is just that, a tool someone else (the smart one) uses. The guy has next to no power in my opinion, and dumb as a box of rocks.
I wouldn't buy cryptocurrency if facebook get's it they have been going ban crazy and disabled my account and other peoples to just for posting a picture of me investing in Bitcoin.And if facebook does integrate cryptocurrency it wouldn't surprise me if they came up with a lame excuse to disable your account and then keep the cryptocurrency you bought from them. @pressfortruth
There is NO way that tool would EVER integrate cryptocurrency into his surveillance site. Don't waist another thought about it.

No. Fakebook is going nowhere. It's just used by the authorities to collect data on the people. Spying basically. They will never use cryptocurrency as it goes against all they need to collect your data. don't waist your time on this non-issue.
Not surprising, as the future of digital currencies is going to be with the ones that are backed up by solid foundational platforms with valuable content, like Steemit has going on. See, he is a charlatan afterall, stealing the ideas of others. His new censorship "marked as spam" agenda is causing people to complain and leave in droves. One thing you can't do to Americans is take away their right to freely express themselves. When ya do that you piss em off. By doing such he is shooting himself in the foot. He's already chosen the wrong path. Hopefully he'll go the way of My Space. When you get right down to it he is a user of people and forgot that without the public he simply has a framework and not much else. Hopefully soon it will just be him and a bunch of idiots with their dancing cat videos. A cryptocurrency backed up by dancing cat videos doesn't sound like a good bet to me.

I really can't stand greedy, destructive business owners. It's time to play their game. Only better. We need to reverse engineer their plans and take them all down. The greed of these companies and their Government Backing needs to come to an end.

Honestly I really don't see a war ahead in this whole thing. Zuckerberg is just a business man seeking to take advantage of possible opportunities to make more profits, and not necessarily to take steemit down cos what keeps and holds steemit is users and usage so what are we saying. This is just business and every business seeks to make more profit. So can peeps let the dude be.

You know they could make the same business model as steemit back to 2004... and make people earn money not from advertising sh**ty things but creating quality content.
And now they understood that people come on steemit to mix the pleasure of sharing information and some kind passion about different topics and then getting rewards.
To my mind it's going to be difficult for FB to implement crypto on it, due to the perception of who are "facebookians"...
if you use steemit, it means that you know how to use sbd / steem...
