Welcome to the Steem Sister Show!
Your hosts are @coruscate and @maryjaney - two sisters bringing fun content to the Steem blockchain.
Topic of this Episode – Living a Creative Life (Part One)
THANK YOU to everyone who submitted questions for this week's topic! We are so excited to have a fully audience generated show this week and we will be sending 2 steem to everyone who's questions we answered. Come back for part two in a few days because we answered tons more questions!
Questions covered in this episode:
@chekohler - How do you rekindle creativity when you haven’t been doing anything creative in a long time?
@blog-beginner - Is creativity an option only for the rich?
@denmarkguy - Something I'd like to see a discussion of is the issue of whether or not you can create a "Creative Life" and make a living at it from the ground up, or is a Creative Life always going to be something you do in addition to your primary job for a long time (years?) before it can sustain you?
What is the Steem Sister Show All About?
We aim to bring more “non-crypto” related content to the Steem Blockchain. Although there is nothing wrong with this kind of content– we want to help create a better onboarding experience for new users. We talk a lot about attracting new users to the platform – but if the trending page is filled with crypto posts and flagging wars, they are likely to lose interest quickly.
We hope that by creating content that is more similar to what they are used to seeing on other social media sites – they will feel more excited about being here and creating content of their own!
How Does It Work?
We pick a different theme every week, and then throw totally random questions about that topic in a hat and go back and forth. We always have a mix of our own questions and some audience questions. Our rule is that we cannot tell each other our answers before filming! So you guys are getting our raw, unfiltered reactions here.
Every episode we announce the next week’s topic so people can submit questions.
Want to win some Steem??
If we chose to answer your question in the next show… we will send you 2 Steem!
The Next Topic: The Big Questions
Our topic for next week is going to be “The Big Questions”. We explain it more in the show… but we are basically going to be going super high level and talk about some of the big questions in life such as “why we are here”…. “what is the purpose of life”… all of it! We can’t wait to see what you guys view as the “big life questions” and chat about it!
As always, if we choose your question - we'll send you 2 steem.
That’s a Wrap!
We really hope you guys enjoyed this first episode on Living a Creative Life! Please come back in a few days for part two where we answer even more of your questions.

Thanks for the shoutout (and the Steem!)...yes we're totally "sort-of-neighbors;" I'm over in Port Townsend, just an island and a peninsula over! And yeah, you both look very Scandinavian; you could wander around Copenhagen and nobody'd ever suspect you weren't local.
So yeah, good answers! I'm an Olde Pharte so I come at it with some experience; I was seriously wanting to become a creative writer after a stint in Corporate Amerika, but just too much risk there... in the sense that I had a life and bills and things and that meant I segued into technical writing instead and dropped it after a year because I realized I had actually sold out (long story)...
Yeah! That...
I think we all have a lot of "empty" time in our lives if we just cruise along and don't pay attention. And I'm not even talking about becoming a slave to time management; just being smarter about our time.
Anyways, cool show, great topic!
LOL thats name Che (pronounded chay) and my surbame Köhler!
Thanks for answering my question and yes i agree with M that its good to shut off from distractions and take time out to focus and break the routine! I also like to read in that time to help me get ideas or topics id like to know more about
I also loved the advice on living on your creative output and trying to build things authentically and organically before money begins to taint the way you do things as your creativity is driven by a profit motive
As for the big question - what do you think is in the life after this? Will it he another phyiscal plain or would it be more energy based existence?
You can wear the hat and place the questions in your hair and pick them at random like that.
That's why I have a place to work offline and a place to work online, and I turn off notifications, otherwise I get nothing done.
Those were some great answers. Looking forward to more.
