This is a wonderful, informative post. Especially to those who are new to the festival scene. I appreciate this even though I am almost ten years in, myself! Especially the bit about protecting is what of left of our ears. Thanks!

I have only been to smaller ones. For example, Entheos and Conscious Goddess Festival are my favourite. Hi, Society is a good one I love too, local friends put it on. I guess I am more ten years into the smaller gatherings than the big fests! But that's how I like it :)
I love the little ones! They are my favorite, when you're sure to see everyone you know more than once and most likely not going to spend hours lost trying to find your camp...

Yes! For me, the presence and safety of children is a testament to the quality of the Festival for sure!
