Creating Hive Account With Ecency As My Provider

in #ecency3 years ago

Hi All hive people. I am new to hive. I just created my account a few hours ago. And this is my first post. I am going to make a note on how I created my hive account.

Here we go.

  1. First I opened https://hive.blog and clicked the Sign up button.

  1. I needed a registration provider. I had to pick one from the list. There were 9 registration providers available. 4 of them offered free services while the rest asked for some fee.

I choosed ecency. I click on the Sign up button.

A new window opened. It is ecency sign up window. I was asked to write a username and my email address which was needed for confirmation.

I filled in the username “janwar00” and my email address.

I received a note saying that an email has been sent to the email address I provided in the pervious step. And that I need to follow further instruction. Okay I got it.

capture08_copy.jpg

Okay, there was an email from ecency. I clicked to open it.

There were 2 links available for me to confirm my subscription to hive.blog. Either one of them will do. I clicked one and opened it.

capture10_copy.jpg

My subscription was confirmed. I now have a hive.blog account. And it said that another email was coming to my inbox which has my account details. Okay then, I went to check my email again.

capture11_copy.jpg

There was the second email from ecency I needed to check.

The second email contained the password for my newly created hive.blog account.

I wanted to try it, so I clicked the login button on ecency.com.

capture14_copy.jpg

I was asked to fill in my credentials. Okay.

capture15_copy.jpg

I was logged in to ecency.com.

The next thing I did was signing in to hive.blog. So I downloaded the pdf file mentioned on the popup box.

That was how I created my hive account with ecency as my provider. And so my journey with hive began.

Thanks to you all who have come and read my first post.

That’s great Anwar, Ecency is great
So welcome to hive

I saw your #onboarding blog and its nice to meet you.
Blogging is what its all about on this blockchain. The best part is that you could earn hive crypto, but we need a higher price, and its not the most important. I have been here for a while and love it!
But be carefull with all your passwords, Never give those up !! They are yours, and fraude is everywhere so also here you can run into that so be warned.

To post to Hive i use Peakd and Ecency, both great helps.

I wish you good luck blogging and I Will See you around🍀
Your value and input is appreciated and if you have questions let me know.

Thanks for the warm welcome message, @brittandjosie. I also learn some things, especially about Peakd ( I will learn about it for sure ) and the Discord. About the discord, looks like you mistype the invitation or maybe it has expired. But no problem I visited your blogs and gained working invitation in one of those blogs. So yes, I am now a member of The Terminal discord server.

Once again, thanks.

Excellent post, and the screenshots should make this very helpful to others! Bravo! 😃

Thanks @thekittygirl. For appreciating the post, and for having me in the server. And for backing me up with some power, now I can go further with my hive journey. About the post, maybe I will make blogs about my experience on hive. What do you think? Will it be cool? And trust me, I won't do any plagiarism. I hate it too.

YES! Making notes and including helpful tips to others in future posts would be an excellent idea! It would help so many people! 😃
