Why Exam fever?
For years now that's we've had teaching in existence, it's something so glaring that we can't actually have all students at the same pace of learning why? With the existence of something like the IQ(intelligence quotient), it has made it so understandable that not everyone can understand something at the level. Due to the, we can always have a winner in every competition, be it in the academic field, or any other.

But why then do we have students/children afraid of text/examination? Could it be that they are just dumb, or the level of their IQ do afters that? Well, I think I need to correct something here, I think the IQ of a think only affects the speed in which the brain interpret information. And the students have months to prepare for exams. Is it laziness?

As a teacher for over three years, I have seen many students that have a lackadaisical attitude towards education and at the end of the day get examination fever which would have been prevented if they were serious.
Here are some tips to avoid falling in their category:
Never let anything catch you unaware.
Always prepare ahead of your teacher as that would get you on edge over others and make you successful in any test or exam.
Follow the syllabus;
Let the syllabus which is a summary of the topics which would be covered during an academic course be your guide when reading. This would help you cover the range you are supposed to. It should be noted that you can also read things outside the syllabus as no knowledge gotten is wasted, but in order to be able to meet up with what is taught in the class, finish up the syllabus of your class first.Test yourself using past questions
Don't just read. Test yourself using the previous past questions to know if you are indeed ready for the exam. Another advantage of this is the fact that you would be able to use it to time yourself.Avoid reading late on the eve of the exam
Your physical or mental wellbeing could be affected if you stay late reading on the eve of your exam. Make sure you are well rested before the start of any paper.

Avoid cramming,
Although there are some formulas or courses you need to cram in order to pass, it is not really advisable as you could forget all you have crammed in the exam hall.
Have extra materials for your exam,
It is advisable to not only go to the venue of your exam with the needed materials, but to also go with extra in case one of them disappoints you.Be at the exam venue on time
In order to avoid you being delayed by the invigilator and to avoid unnecessary anxiety for coming late to the exam venue, try to go earlier.Obey the instructions
Make sure you carefully read and obey all the instructions given before you answer questions. It should be noted that "I too know" has made a lot of people fail.Start with the easy questions
You might not have enough time to finish the questions given to you. It is therefore advised that you should attempt the easier ones first.Flee from exam malpractice
Apart from the fact that cheating in the exam is distracting and stressful, the consequences after could be deadly.
A way to the genius league is by meditating on the past problems. - Nucleus.
In fact, if after all your preparation, you make some mistakes and you get scared, it would be better for you to fail honorably than for you to cheat and get caught!
