RE: CULTISM IN SCHOOLS AND SOCIETY; EFFECTS AND POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS

in #education6 years ago

Here in the Philippines, teenagers are more susceptible to this kind of organizations such as the fraternities where there are reported incidents of death due to hazing or just like what you have discussed in the "victims" situation. I have asked some of my friends and they say that they join to certain organizations as a sense of belonging or acceptance of peer, and some have this practical reasoning which is to easily acquire jobs due to the advantages and connections you could gain after joining. But the point is, your just like lending your life to an organization that could guarantee you with pleasantries, risking your life knowing every day could be the time of your death. :( I felt so pity for responsible and decent parents who have high regards for their children.

Sort:

@leslierevales your correct most youths are been cajoled into cultism as a result of peer pressure...Also,due to the flamboyant lifestyle exhibited by cultist most gullible youths are attracted to them.

and they often forget that sometimes, promises are made to be broken, not to be fulfilled :)

Emphatically yes, especially with cultist.

haha cheers to that :D
