I could write a whole article about that. The short answer is, too many socio/political agenda items in the broadcast narrative, too many movies being nominated that no one cares about, too many boring personalities (no one to really love or really hate), and too much hypocrisy from rich people who want to tell everyone one else how to live, in my not-so-humble opinion.

Agreed and Hollywood could step it up and try more and better to entertain like we all were doing for some years on YouTube back in the day.
I believe people are more into internet now that people are llraning less on tv and more on to WiFi. Look at amazon firestick for example

Its ok they got a lot of stuff not the best but the fire stick was genius
