Just to recheck, Can you go to PlayStore and make sure you don't see Update option on eSteem app? It will ensure that you are using latest version, because we pushed 2 updates yesterday and one of them was broken. Also did you try restarting app couple times?
We just tested app on multiple S8 and S9 devices, all tests seem to work fine.

Go to Settings page of your phone and find eSteem, clear all app data and only then uninstall app. Go to PlayStore and install again new version. See if it helps. Looks like migration might have failed when you updated from previous version.
Option 1 and option 2 didn't work!
Before of each uninstall I deleted cache memory and all data from aplication settings.
I hope next update will solve this problem.
