eSteem - Android v1.2.4 released, Performance optimization, bug fixes, improvements

Hello Steemians,

eSteem new release is out for Android devices. After few days of work and user feedback, this version mostly concentrated to fixes for bugs and performance improvements. My tests show that from this version app should be quite faster and performant, responsive, blazing fast on some devices. Let me know if you feel that on your devices...

  • Improvement on fetching data

Small suggestion for a future patch - the scrolling feature in the sideways direction is too sensitive, and frequently scrolls between feeds instead of down the page. Also, the app push notifications cannot be closed after opening them from the notification menu on android, and they block the screen when entering the PIN code. Otherwise, great app, keep up the good work.

Thanks dahaz for feedback, sure I think showing popup with confirmation "OK,cancel" buttons and showing it after pin code should fix it, right?

Keep working on that. Mainly performance (responsiveness) still seems to me like a big issue.
