Introduction
In this series of posts, We will highlight top users of eSteem and giveaway some extra rewards. Only comments and posts stats are considered. User can only take part in one of 3 sections, either comments+posts, just posts and new top earners sections and 3 leaders from each section receive rewards.
As for v1.5.0 we have Leaderboard feature in Activity manager which you can follow your progress daily in terms of staying on top among all other eSteem users and ultimately winning monthly spotlight!

@good-karma this is a laudable initiative you have certainly open up a floodgate of giving back and the remaining app developers are certain to follow this example. I use esteem app and well this will encourage others to keep using the app, developing it and thereby creating a more sustainable app for now and the future.

Games are yet another great idea, if you have been following me, I have wrote about creating games on eSteem. There are few ideas about which game we should start but for now it is postponed due to other priority features, private messaging and stickers, polished activity tracker, etc. But we will get there ;)

Sry... but isnt it the wrong way to give more to them who reached a lot...
only my two cents...
This is monthly spotlight, people who win this month spotlight likely saw last month and tried hard to win this month. That is part of gamification and rewarding, as I mentioned in post we already have Leaderboard feature where every user can see their weekly stats to try to win and reach spotlight for next month!
Yeah i like this ideas but there is still left a BAD BUT !!!
Often this special options to win some SBD is bringing up0 more and more multiple accounts to reach something like this prizes... there hundreds, thousands million bots multiples and other bad stuff...
I think this is goin a wrong way inside here, maybe its because im a small one, and dontt want to cheat me some prizes...
i see too much bad stuff in here... False Flag wars and Users who made loads of acounts to win at Sporttipp games and so on....
So i see a lot problems to let some dudes win who get the mosts Comments or something like this....
Also i think its the wrong way to give a prize to someone who reach a lot of MVESTS , this dude did something right yes for sure, but i think when a good curation system will be good for a Community it has to go to good stories who most didnt see, not at this who get seen... maybe im thinking wrong way but MAYBE its the right one ;)
