Meeting Vitalik Buterin on 16 Aug in Singapore! 8月16日会见Vitalik Buterin大神!

I'm super super SUPER excited that i might get to meet Vitalik Buterin on 16 Aug!!!

He has relocated to Singapore from Zug, Switzerland earlier this year.

We wanted to build a base in Asia for a long time. And since I am the person in our team who is most willing to go there and get in touch with the community, it was at the end of me that made the effort. Buterin told the Swiss publication Handelszeitung. (Source: finews.asia)

I'm not technologically savvy, so when i watch his videos online, my face usually looks like:

I will brush up my knowledge of Ethereum and blockchain before attending his talk, that's for sure. Even though i'm only on the wait list now, i will go there early and hope for the best! Here are some of the details of this event:

Blockbuster Ethereum Keynote: Vitalik Buterin

August is proving to be a month of meetups for the Ethereum Foundation and we are delighted to announce a blockbuster keynote for the 2nd half of 2017 for Ethereum Singapore by - Vitalik Buterin, the founder of Ethereum himself.

The topics that will be covered and discussed on this talk will range from the following:

• Upcoming slated release of Metropolis, the third of the four planned stages of Ethereum's development

• Proof of Stake progress and update

• Plans for Ethereum Foundation for the 2nd half of 2017

If i get to attend this event (because the RSVP is not entirely exclusive,) and if there is a Q&A session (they mentioned a 30mins "networking" period,) and if i get to ask Vitalik Buterin a question, what do you suggest i should ask? Please share your thoughts in the comment below. :)

我真的是非常非常非常的兴奋，因为我终于有可能在8月16日见到Vitalik Buterin啦!

他大约今年6月从瑞士的Zug移居到新加坡。据之前的报道，他表示Ethereum的团队一直都有在亚洲建立基地的计划。而他是这个团队里最愿意到亚洲和该社区接触的人，所以他采取了实际行动。

因为我对科技/编程几乎一无所知，所以我在网上看他的演说，表情通常是这样的（上图）。

在参加此次活动之前，我将努力多学一点关于Ethereum和区块链有关的知识。虽然目前我只是在“等候名单”上，我还是会早早前往会场，并希望好事发生。此次活动的大致内容是：

• 接下来将实行Metropolis，Ethereum计划中（四个阶段里）的第三个阶段。
• 股权证明（POS）的发展进程。
• Ethereum基金在2017下半年的计划。

如果我能有幸入场（因为报名不是绝对严格的），如果有问答环节（主办方提到有30分钟的“社交”时间），如果我能有机会问Vitalik Buterin一个问题，你觉得我应该问什么呢？请留言告诉我吧！谢谢！
