Hi captains!, today I'll post the build I played for the Criminal award in the evac challenge.
THE BUILD
Nothing extraordinary btw, my criminal cards are very limited and therefore used only syndicate cards apart of the versatile slot.
The officers were equipped with SD Rifles and Eisen Suits, the crew was equipped with Syndicate Blasters and a Explanator for the Triskan Fighter as suits with the drawing. The Hacker had a Syndicate Blaster and an Universal fixer suit.
The SSL (Syndicate Squad Leader) was surprisingly efficient in the evac, I managed to make a scoring of 1600 with these, of course this isn't an ideal build, so was quite impressed by obtaining this award with these cards.
The bonus of the Repenant and having so many shooters made the cargo area much easier to manage, the Myrmidon also with his armour gives you time to get enough cargo without problems.
That's a lot of syndicate troopers! I almost bought a second one myself during the contest. I was low on syndicate cards and had to resort to using the transactor, which was terrible at escorting passengers. I like the SSL too. Glad I have one. You have a simple build, yet super effective!
Yes, that's because I have the syndicate contract. The troopers are imo one of the most cost efficient syndicate cards, not like the Transactors that are pretty useless right now. Maybe the explosives could be useful, I haven't checked them as were deactivated.
Criminal faction is quite limited and my options were few, therefore this build.
One thing that I like of eXode its that it isn't a pay to win game, you can make very good scores with some practice and creative solutions. Elindos is doing a great job in the design of it.
Cheers and merry xmas captain @proto26.
Merry Christmas, captain!
I was also surprised how good the syndicate squad leader was in EVAC, the card definitely got my attention during the challenge! In general I go with more cruisers for the EVAC (2 longsword/garrison and 3 cruiser)
That's a good choice of escorts imo, as the cruisers give the fleet more durability with less interception chance but the Longsword squadron is good enough to balance it (i think). The SSL case is curious as could be probably the less used card from the syndicate, apart of the Transactor, we will have better choices for our officers most of the time but is a cheap and efficient card for people with small collections.
Ty for your comment captain @eyebroo.
