Eldrick Tont "Tiger" Woods was born in Cyprus, California on December 30, 1975.
His parents were Earl and Coulitida Woods.
She is the only child of her marriage. However, he has two half brothers, Earl Jr. and Kevin and half sister Royce, from their 18-year marriage to Semi Woods and his first wife, Barbara Woods Gray.
Traditionally, Celtida mixed with Thai, Chinese and Dutch descent from Thailand.
Tiger refers to her racial make-up as "cablinasian" (a collaboration with Caucasian, black, American Indian and Asian).
Woods's first name, Eldrick, was made by his mother because it started with "E" (for Earl) and ended with "K" (for Cultida).
Its middle name is Tont, a traditional Thai name.
He was the nickname of the tiger in honor of Colonel Wong Dang Fong, his father's friend, who was also called Tiger.
Woods's niece is Cheyenne Woods, who played for the golf team of Wake One University and became a professional in 2012, which led to her being in the LPGA Championship.

In 1984, at the age of eight, he won the 9-10 boys event, the youngest group in the Junior World Golf Championship.
He first broke 80 at the age of eight. He proceeded to win the Junior World Championship six times, from which four consecutive wins were included from 1988 to 1991.
Woods surpassed the difficulties of manipulating as a boy.
