Clowning Around to Make it Thru Winter

in #family4 years ago

Riding out these Northern Hemisphere cold months can be dreary and when work is as busy as it has been there isn’t much time for anything else it seems with the daylight hours so few.

And with all the complexities of the big movie we call reality it’s easy to feel like the system is rigged against you, but there is no option other than forward.

Of course, our boy James doesn’t comprehend any of the events happening these crazy past few weeks or days, each day is new day to play. And to that I say, bring back the warm temps!

Winter is a lame duck when the temps hover around 38-40 during precipitation events, allowing for rain instead of snow, but with colder temperatures in between the precipitation events.

James has been learning to swim!

Sadly, there is a lot of time between now and warmer temps. James has shown so much interest in the garden last year I can only hope he holds the same feelings this year.

Take care y’all.

James has grown so much! Glad you can take time to enjoy him in your busy days. Yes, winter does drag on "up north." We have had much less snow than usual, and more rain, which means lots of drab, gray days. Not my favorite kind of weather.

James is so cute, I can imagine there never being a dull moment at home!!

To that I say you are correct. Really puts in to perspective what my parents had to handle with me, ha!
