For the past week and a half I have been digging out of two snowstorms we had back to back here in central Iowa. I have been using one of those senior friendly ergonomic shovels the old fashioned way...by hand. Between the two storms, I reckon we have received almost two feet of snow. And now we have the below zero temperatures that are following these blizzards. I am grateful the furnace is working properly and the pipes are not freezing...so far.
Now to find a way to the grocery store, as neither mom nor I drive. Speaking of mom, she suffer a minor heart attack shortly before Christmas. I was back in Davenport, IA at the time. However we did not get all this confirmed until the weekend of New Years, Her vitals were normal then and we did not know the details. She did suffer permanent damage though and was in two different hospitals. Thankfully, her four new medications seems to be working,
Don't forget to be a friend to the innocent families and stolen children, targeted by the CPS and other trafficking rings out there. They need our help...always.
