Why can't we breathe new life in to others?

Today we celebrate Easter Sunday with a bunny, a hunt for colorful eggs and some great food. Larger cities may even host a holiday parade. Churches will have above normal attendance and a spirit of spring will be in the air.

Followers of the Christian church will tell you it is not about the bunny but the lamb, who came and died for our errors, so we may have eternal life in heaven. They will express that Christ died so we may live. A resurrection that prevents a second death on our part. And such is true, and a greater message than a fluffy bunny rite of spring. But, how can we respond to this resurrection? How can we breathe new life into others and prevent this horrible death of the soul? Christ came to save lives, then why can't we also.

I think of the helpless and hurting...the innocent who are easy prey for greedy bullies. I think of children and families who suffer at the hand of the CPS. There are little ones who are taken from their parents, only to be sold for profit into a world of misery.

These boys and girls traumatically are torn from their homes, only to be littered with psychological baggage. We are talking fear, abandonment, guilt, loneliness, abuse, numbness, helplessness, hopelessness, misery, poor health, despair, depression, panic, suicide... and even an early grave.

And the list goes on...

Mom and dad tirelessly try to save their children through the legal hoops of the CPS, only to learn that the judicial system is rigged with compromised judges and bought off lawyers. Had they not been preyed upon through manipulation, intimidation and outright lies, they would still have their kids.

These parents do all they can, but what do we do? Do we listen to the dark voices of apathy and fear, or do we take action? Why can't we be their voice and provide the resurrection and hope for their lives? Why can't we share that gift of Easter with the innocent and hurting?

Why must these families lie waste in a grave of doom?

We can be a friend to families and children, preventing child trafficking and theft by the CPS. We can bring new life to their soul and protect their freedom. Will you join us in sharing the gift of Easter? Together we can end child theft forever.
