How To Ethically Fill A Gap In The Teenage Clothing Market

in #fashion5 years ago

I see a gap in the market to make better clothes to teenagers without child labor.

How many kids want to wear adults clothes but they are too big. I am sure there is a lot of us. I think I see a gap in the market, and I want to share my business plan with you guys.

The Problem

The big problem is the fit. This is a problem because many kids my age want to wear adult sized clothes but they can't, and so that's why the fit is the problem. This is why I am hoping I could make the same product as the adult's products but in teenage sizes.

The style will be the same as the adult style and product. I am talking about the same leather jackets, the same black & white basic t-shirt that could fit you and make you look muscular, same pants that fit perfectly and aren't baggy. Even if they are, you could get them tailored.

It will be better than having a white t-shirt that has Spiderman posing I mean come on that stuff is for kids who are six and seven not for people who are 8 and older. I am sure Uniqlo and H&M should that into consideration.

Market Opportunity

I am not the only one who thinks this is the case - I am sure there are lots of teenagers my age who think so too. That is why I am sure this could be pretty big. My research has shown that no one does this kind of fashion yet, and that's why I am very confident I could help the youth movement to make something big and unique for all the teenagers who want this to happen.
It was estimated that until 2016 the kids wear segment was the fastest-growing segment in the clothing industry

Clothing & Ethics

The International Labor Organization estimates that there are around 170 million kids involved in child labor. I don't want to be making clothes for teenagers were other children are slaves and have to be suffer. 11% of the kids around the world have to go to work over school, and I don't want to be involved with that because it is unfair for the kids.

Better Clothes And A Brighter Future...

The problem is that the fit and the style of clothes isn't appropriate to my age group and that's why it is my goal to do something about it. There is no one else providing this service that is needed by many teenagers. The fact that 10% f the clothes seem to be made by child labor disgusts me. I don't want to have to do anything with that, because it is brutal.
