“Ready Player One” is one of the most anticipated movie in first semester of 2018. It’s a newest film directed by Steven Spielberg, dystopian adventure based off the 2011 sc-fi novel by Ernest Cline. By carrying the genre action, sci-fi adventure, this film finally was scheduled to be released on December 15, 2017. The date was pushed back until March 29, 2018 to avoid competition with Star Wars: The Last Jedi (2017). This is Steven Spielberg's first science fiction film since War of the Worlds (2005) starred by Tom Cruise.
Synopsis
In the near future, 2044. When a billionaire founder of a popular game dying in his bed bequeath to the entire gamers of his creation all the wealth and ownership of the game as a treasure hunt hidden inside a virtual reality game named OASIS. After years of searching for Haliday's "Easter Egg," One average teenager named Wade Watts solves the first clue, he sparks excitement and hope back to the hunt, and throwing him into a world of people willing to kill for the information he has, changing his life forever.
