My first experience in Gods Unchained

in #firsttime2 years ago

Like all players When I started to play Gods Unchained I had only the welcome set and some Core set cards(they mostly bad cards)
This is the deck that was my "starter": https://gudecks.com/decks/10721
I was trying to make a midrange deck with what I had and with the help of the @copperpitch youtube tutorial about the F2P example deck.

My scope:

  • play the 60 games for the Blessing of the Gods event
  • try to make at least 11 wins in the weekend rank (to get a Divine Order pack)

The first 5 games in the weekend rank went awful and my morale went down as well. After those games, I took a break and watch the @copperpitch Twitch and learn some tricks to play better (mana management and some decision making).
On the second day, I played all 20 games. Some of them were really close games but the War power got me down, but I learned from them.

My results:

  • played the 60 games -> got ~9 Gods Token
  • rank Twilight Shadow
  • got 12/25 on the first-weekend rank -> got some upgrades for my nature deck and 5 bad cards from the DO pack (all were bad cards, only this card make it to my deck)

The other cards that I got were these:

At last, I wanna thank @copperpitch and his discord members for all the help I had during my first experience in Gods Unchained. Now after 4 weeks, I got Mythic ranks and have ~15 wins in the weekend rank. and over 30 Gods tokens.

Hey welcome to hive! Consider making an Intro post so that we can all get to know you.
Its really good to see that this game has inspired lots of new people to start posting about their experience playing, and using hive to share!

some other things that I am always interested in knowing is..

How or when did you first get into crypto?

How or when did you first hear about hive?

Not to be intrusive, but.. How old are you? where are you from?

[Its commonly encouraged that folks make their posts a bit longer than the bare minimum, and to put a bit of flavor and love into their content because the idea is for others to be able to show their appreciation and engage with you, and upvote and assign value to it, so really want to do you best, and take a little time to make this stuff shine!

^^ Those questions I asked ^^

Are the things you should write in your #introduceyourself post. You should consider making one.

You should stop by "The Terminal" discord channel if you have any questions, or need any help getting started. https://discord.gg/Hkj527WKad
