Beach Spider Lilies are now in bloom!

The Beach Spider Lilies are blooming nicely this season. Now this part of the walkway is looking good because of the nice contrast between the dark green leaves and the pure white Lily flowers.

I guess the weather has become suitable for its growth and I'm happy to take photo of them while the flowers are at it's peak. A few days after this then the flowers will turn yellowish or light brownish already.

This flower is fascinating. It may appear harmless but it actually contains toxin in it's bulb so one should be careful at handling this one especially the ones that has sensitive skin. Although, the poison is not really potent, it will still give discomfort to the ones who are reactive to it. That also means that it can't be eaten.
