Ingredients (makes one loaf)
.vegetable oil spray
.almond meal, for coating
.a pair of cups hazelnut meal, and further if required
.½ cup LSA or ground oilseed
.three tbsp fleawort husk (for a fibre hit, however optional)
.a pair of piled tbsp raw chocolate tree powder
.⅓ cup hazelnuts, skins removed, crushed or sliced
.a pair of tsp ground cinnamon
.one ½ tsp leaven
.⅓ cup roughly sliced semi-sweet chocolate or raw vegetarian chocolate chunks
three ripe bananas, mashed
.3 eggs
.½ cup medjool dates, alveolate and roughly sliced
.three tbsp almond milk (or milk of your choice), and further if required
.a pair of tbsp virgin organic vegetable oil, melted
.a pair of tablespoons stevia granules, raw honey or sirup
To serve
.½ banana, sliced
.almond butter
.raw honey
.raw chocolate tree powder
Method
Preheat the kitchen appliance to 180°C (160°C fan-forced). gently spray a customary loaf tin with vegetable oil and coat liberally with almond meal, tipping out the surplus.
Combine the hazelnut meal, LSA or oilseed, fleawort husk (if using), chocolate tree powder, hazelnuts, cinnamon, leaven and chocolate in a very giant bowl.
In a jug, whisk along the mashed banana, eggs, dates, milk, vegetable oil and sweetener.
Pour the banana mixture into the dry ingredients and blend till well combined.
If the batter is just too wet, add further hazelnut meal; if it's too dry, add a lot of milk.
Spoon the batter into the ready tin and enhance the highest with the sliced banana.
Bake for 45–60 minutes or till a skewer inserted within the centre comes out clean.
Remove and permit to cool down within the tin.
Gently tip the cooled loaf out of the tin and take away slices. this can be delicious served with almond butter, honey and a sprinkle of chocolate tree powder.
Store in Associate in Nursing airtight instrumentality within the electric refrigerator for up to every week, or wrap individual slices and store within the Deepfreeze for a month.
