Frankie's Warragul Coffee Shop - Cafe Review

I hope you all well and the New Year is going well for all of you. Our family is very busy with moving at the moment and we are trying to get organised! We took a break from packing and drove with friends to our new block of land and then decided to treat ourselves to yummy breakfast...but unfortunately we had to wait for 50 minutes when they said it will take only half hour and all the kids were getting restless, so it was not as present as we hoped.

Place is called Frankie's and is located in Warragul - South East of Melbourne in the Gippsland region. Coffee was really nice and served really quickly and I enjoyed decor. All the food is presented nicely, so I was really keen to try, but was left a little disappointed because it looks better then it tasted. It was a little blend and hollandaise sauce was used from the packet. For this price I would expect everything to be made in store. Overall we probably will choose a different place next time we visit Warragul.

Eggs Benny

2 poached eggs covered with hollandaise sauce & premium shaved leg ham atop 2 potato rostis.

Zucchini & Halloumi Fritters

With smashed avo & pickled beetroot puree topped off with a poached egg, feta, dukkah & micro herbs.

Pulled Beef Burrito

Smoked beef brisket slow-cooked for 8 hours, with quinoa, coleslaw, crushed tortilla chips & chipotle aioli.

Frankie's Big Breakfast

2 eggs cooked your way, spicy chorizo, bacon, slow roasted tomatoes, a slow roasted field mushroom, sautéed spinach & crispy hash browns with toasted sourdough

Jack's Stack

A 3-tier pancake stack served with mixed berries & ice cream OR with butter, maple syrup & ice cream
