One food source…

is known for…

… maintenance of a strong immune system.
… has been demonstrated to improve muscle function and it is clinically proven to raise glutathione.
… Helps increase muscle strength and performance [when combined with regular exercise].
… helps build and repair body tissues and build antibodies.
… providing all essential amino acids.

The Physicians Desk Reference says…

Dosage and Administration

“For mild to moderate health challenges, 20 grams per day is recommended. Clinical trials in patients with AIDS, COPD, cancer and chronic fatigue syndrome have used 30–40 grams per day without ill effect.” “…. is best administered on an empty stomach or with a light meal. Concomitant intake of another high protein load may adversely affect absorption.”

But in the USA…
“… is a natural food supplement and as such is limited from stating medical claims per se. Statements have not been evaluated by the FDA. As such, this product is thus not intended to diagnose, cure, prevent or treat any disease.”

Here in Canada…
”Natural source of the glutathione precursor cysteine for the maintenance of a strong immune system. Helps increase muscle strength and performance [when combined with regular exercise]. Source of protein which helps build and repair body tissues and build antibodies. Source of essential amino acids (i.e. histidine, isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, tryptophan, valine) for the maintenance of good health. Workout supplement/athletic support. Assists in the building of lean muscle [tissues/mass] when combined with regular [weight/resistance] training and a healthy balanced diet.”
