So I love anything Mr. Ramsay touches. Shows, books, recipes, and of course his restaurants but I promised myself for the sake of people that actually end up reading this that I would be honest about the experience. After all why create a blog to clue people in on the Vegas dining scene, just to let my own personal love/obsession get in the way of the truth? I decided to wear UK colors to show my excitement! That being said, the wait to be seated was too long. A line stretched all the way down the side of the restaurant. They take names and they give you buzzers so you can hope to find a seat in the casino nearby while you wait, but kind of draining. I get they’re going for a more casual feel which is why they don’t take reservations, or call aheads, but that doesn’t change the fact I would probably go somewhere else to eat if I were on the hungry side. Once inside the service is on point. No waiting for attention. They have a good drink selection and even some British stuff I’d never seen for anyone feeling adventurous. We didn’t do appetizers we decided on a variety of fries to share with our burgers. We had the classic fries, sweet potato fries, and the truffle fries. Along with the onion rings cuz I love onion rings, and I can’t see them on a menu without ordering them. All amazing, and they came with awesome dipping sauces. I could have made a meal out of just that.
The main course was next. I ordered the Euro burger, AND the Hell’s Kitchen burger, and I didn’t care what anyone thought. One of my girlfriends ordered the Earth burger, and the other ordered the chicken burger (I think it was the “yard bird” but the menu may have changed). We were all more than satisfied. My vegetarian friend was especially impressed with the Earth burger. It’s a grilled Portobello mushroom that’s been marinated to give it massive flavor. She said it was nothing like the soggy lifeless grilled mushrooms she was used to. My fav was the Euro, and I normally love spicy which is why I had to try the Hell’s Kitchen, but the Euros perfect flavor combos really blew me away. Everything was a hit, and to be honest its reasonably priced at around $25 a person which gets you both a burger and a side of fries. I didn’t try any of the signature milkshakes or desserts… I was born hating sweets? I recommend hitting this place up! I guarantee you won’t be disappointed. Just try to avoid the normal busy nights, and in turn avoid starvation.
