Grilled Chicken With Braised Veggies - A Crispy Treat To Celebrate The Crypto Market Rebound

This is a time to celebrate the long journey of some assets I´ve been hodling for a while now. It´s time to enjoy the long awaited rebound of the crypto market and with that I made grilled chicken with some braised vegetables for some of my friends just as a sort of beating the drum! Since I had to make an impromptu task, one of my friends quickly went out to get the chicken and with a few veggies that were left in the fridge, we used those as well.

The method is really very easy... I followed the idea of a foodie friend who always use her grilling method be it for beef, pork, duck or turkey. In short, any meat will do and it seems it is true that the meat is so tender and crispy using the liquid method. The secret is the broth/water and the spices that´s keeping the chicken fully moist by pouring its liquid on to the whole piece every 15-20 minutes during the whole course of the oven-grilling.

Grilled Chicken

1 whole chicken, cleaned and ready for cooking
soy sauce
2 cloves garlic, crushed
salt and pepper
1 liter vegetable broth (or water plus 1 chicken cube)
creme fraiche for the gravy
1 tablespoon cornflour

Preparations:

Preheat the oven at 225°C/ approx. 437 °F

1... Rub the chicken with 1-2 tablespoons soy sauce and with the crushed garlic... season with salt and pepper inside and out, let stand for 15 minutes.

2...Prepare a deeper oven tray , add the 1 liter vegetable broth and 1 tablespoon soy sauce or you can also use 1 liter water with 1 chicken cube crumbled and spread all over the water, add the chicken and grill according to the above temperature.

3...After 15-20 minutes, pour the grill liquid thoroughly onto the chicken so that the skin doesn´t dry-out, repeat the process once more.. then turn the side of the chicken, repeat the same process as you did before. Always pour liquid to keep the chicken moist. If the liquid evaporated, add more broth or water, it should not dry-out because the liquid will be used as gravy or sauce later after the grilling.

4... The turning of the chicken sides can be done if you think the chicken needs more color... but always see to it that the liquid is always there by adding more broth or water just like in the beginning before the grilling. The chicken should be done after 1.5 hours.

LETS MAKE THE GRAVY

5... Take it out from the oven tray and put the chicken on a platter. Gather the liquid in a saucepan and heat it, add creme fraiche , stirring constantly to blend it with the liquid. Dissolve 1 tablespoon cornflour in 1/2 cup water and add this to the liquid with the creme fraiche. Reduce the heat and stir the gravy til it becomes thick in consistency. Transfer the gravy in a saucier or bowl (It can be heated before serving). Sorry guys, I forgot to take a shot of the gravy :-((

6... Return the chicken in the oven tray and grill for 10 more minutes to make the skin crispy. Then cover the chicken with a tin foil and keep it warm til serving.

BRAISED VEGETABLES

You can add any vegetables you like or prefer, the choice is yours. What we have in the fridge were leftovers from past day´s food shopping.

Ingredients:

2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 onion, sliced
Carrots
zucchini
eggplant
bell pepper
red and green bell pepper
celery stalks
olive oil ( or any vegetable cooking Oil)
salt and ground black pepper

Preparations:

1... In a pan with 2 tablespoon oil, fry the garlic til golden brown in color, then add the cut veggies. Stir- fry until all become soft. If more oil is needed, give a tablespoon more. Add 1/2 cup water/broth to make the veggies become softer and leet the liquid evaporates.

2... Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon soy sauce (optional) and season with salt and ground black pepper according to your taste.

3... Place the veggies in a big platter as in the above photo and take the chicken out of the oven and arrange it on top of the vegetable and serve with the gravy. Serve hot with cooked rice or pasta...

WE EAT BRAISED VEGETABLES ALSO.it is seprate delicious dish we considered,but with chiken it is more tasty.yummy looking i hope it is delicious to eat.when will you invite me for dinner?????
