This is one of the myths that kill many people on a daily basis. Your brain need carbs to be happy, Your body need carbs to be happy, You need carbs to be happy.
Now many people may argue that avoiding carbs at night make you lose fat. Well, completely avoiding carbs could drastically reduce your caloric intake, thus making you lose weight in the long run through an indirectly induced caloric deficit.
Does carbs make you fat?? Not at all. it’s the total amount of calories that you consume during the day that will indicate whether you’re going to gain or lose weight and not the timing of the nutrients be it carbs or fats.
Personally, I enjoy having my carbs at night as they allow me to fall asleep quicker.
